Sacred Service Travel to Ecuador
For SoHA, this trip is like a gate opening to the world. There is no doubt that all of the amazing work in Heart and Consciousness has affected the matrix connecting all of us, from our families - to our work - and beyond. This trip is a journey of service where we begin to make a clear path for the work of the heart to more tangibly effect our brothers and sisters all over the world. In this act of service there is an opportunity - a training of the heart - that is essential in the growing of ourselves as we aspire to live in the fulfillment and happiness of love. To be in service to others through generosity of heart and giving is to walk the path of maturity and meaning. It is the only way to live. In the end we are really world citizens.

Service Project and Donations
SoHA teachers and students will be traveling to the Otavalo area of Ecuador for a Sacred Service Trip. We will be working in the rural mountain community of Mojandita-Curuví and neighboring Mojanda Mirador, high in the Andes mountains. There we will assist with a construction project to build a meeting center for the community; the project will be lead by the local residents and will be constructed using Indigenous methods. We will also be working with the children at the school.
Our intention is to serve this rural community, knowing the reciprocity of the experience and are grateful for the opportunity to open our hearts in awareness. Living and working in this Indigenous community will be an invaluable experience touching our own lives.
We are raising funds to assist with the construction materials and resources for the children. In addition we are each traveling with an extra suitcase full of materials for the school.

Lodging
During the service project we will be residing at Casa Mojanda - an Andean Eco-Lodge and family farm in Otavalo, Ecuador.
Travel
Currently Flights are around $900. You may be able to use Frequent Flyer Miles to cover flights.
We will be flying into Quito, on June 5 and driving to Casa Mojanda. Driving back to Quito on June 12 for flights back to the US.
