We recommend that flights arrive in Atlanta by 2pm on Friday and leave Atlanta on Monday. If you are interested in scheduling in-person sessions, plan to arrive Thursday evening or Friday morning. Please schedule body-work, kinesiology or guide sessions a week in advance of arrival - sessions book quickly. Resource Monday is an excellent day for scheduling detox and integration sessions!
An important part of the Inner Awareness Course is the course orientation held Wednesday evening before the Friday start of the course. If you live in Atlanta, please join us in person. If you are out-of-town, please join us via web broadcast. You will receive an email invitation to join the LiveStream web broadcast, including the event link and password.
Friday Evening: Please eat dinner before you arrive at SoHA between 5 and 5:30pm.
Breakfasts: We offer breakfast at 8:30am - includes bagels/toast, cream cheese, fresh fruit, juice, tea, coffee and other special items. Course begins at 9am.
Lunches and Dinners: Our buffet style catered meals include foods for every preference including vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores. All foods are healthy, low sugar (with the exception of cookies), and organic when available. Most common allergies (dairy, nuts, gluten) have been taken into account in the menu. If you any other allergies, please let SoHA know so that prepared foods can be customized.
Snacks: Many snacks and foods are provided throughout the day for the entire weekend. If you have something particular you would like to eat, please bring it to the course with you.
Water and Drinks: Staying hydrated is important and easy. SoHA has an advanced filtration system for hot and cold water. Hot tea, coffee, and water are available. Students will receive a water bottle that can be refilled throughout the weekend.
Wellness Resources: There are a number of excellent nutritional supplements, essential oils, and books for sale at SoHA.
Casual is the norm, please dress in clothes that allow you to move and be comfortable. When considering attire for the weekend, please do not wear shorts, skirts, sleeveless shirts, and low cut tops – this is for your basic comfort in introspection. Jeans or sweatpants, long t-shirts, sweatshirts, and slip-on shoes are perfect options. Depending on the season, the temperature in the course room tends to fluctuate, so layers are a good option.
Continue to take good care of yourself – drink lots of fluids, attend the course rested, and plan to have a light day on Monday following the course. Transformation happens at the cellular level - hydration is key! We have plenty of flavored electrolyte packets that can be added to your water bottles.
Please DO NOT consume alcohol or non-prescription drugs 24 hours before, during, and 24 hours after any SoHA course.

Resources for your SoHA Course Experience
Part of the courses is preparing with kinesiology and detoxing before and after the course. Clearing the old and making space for the new is always beneficial! SoHA make session times available Thursday and Friday before the course, and Monday after the course. A SoHA staff, or kinesiologist will work with you on recommendations to get the most from your course experience. See - Kinesiology and Inner Care for more information.
